My
name is Jon Johnson. I own The Good Earth Company. Since 1993 I
have been living in Greensboro, NC and have spent much of my time
photographing nature in the mid-Atlantic and the Appalachians,
especially the Blue Ridge Parkway. Waterfalls, butterflies, natural
views and beach scenes are my main interests. Anything that promotes a
feeling of serenity and peace. I also take requests for various
scenes people would personally appreciate.
I encourage everyone to do what they can to support conservation,
locally and globally, and to support their state and national parks,
and to tour the places represented. You will not protect what you do
not appreciate! So, please, protect and support our planet and those
trying to keep it green! (Yes, that includes me!) The Earth, it’s not
just a nice place to visit, it’s a nice place to live!
Also included in this website are conservation items which may also be
used as additions to emergency supply kits. This will include such
items as rechargeable batteries and solar chargers, solar powered
radios and lighting, solar educational toys, water purification and
other miscellaneous products. I use these products myself and I only
use and sell the best I can find.
Since I sell on Ebay and Craig’s List, you will see on occasion
listings for a wide variety of pottery, glassware, clothing, comics and
books. I also have reprint rights to some Japanese woodblock prints,
18th and 19th century children’s illustrations, and a wide range of
eclectic prints such as; Edgar Allan Poe, Einstein, Sitting Bull, old
chocolate boxes, food ads, trains etc. Just ask.
